Homemade Wrapping Paper Tutorial

Are you tired of the same ol' wrapping paper laying around your house? Want to jazz up the presents underneath your Christmas tree this year?

A simple roll of brown paper from the Dollar Store and some dye-cut machine images will do the trick!

1) I started by wrapping my present using a roll of brown paper I found at the Dollar Store. Then, I wrapped some baker's twine around it a couple of times using different colors.

2) I cut some images out using my dye-cut machine. {If you don't have one, I can help!}

3) In order to attach the images to my twine, I punched eyelets into each shape.

4) To give the images some depth, I used a double sided sticky foam dot to attach a smaller heart to the top of the larger hearts. {I clearly did steps 3 & 4 backwards. I advise you to put the eyelets in first and then attach them. That way you don't have to be as careful with the eyelets.}

5) Finally, put some more twine through the eyelets and tie them onto the existing twine that is already wrapped around the present.

There are so many different things you can do with dye-cut machines. I'm so excited to wrap Christmas presents this year!
