One of my New Year's resolutions was to plant succulents and keep them alive. I know that's not a very difficult task for most people, but trust me when I say that's a big deal to me. My friend got me some sort of fern for my bridal shower, one that she convinced me couldn't die no matter how hard I tried, or, rather, didn't try. Yeah, that sucker was a goner in a month. Only because that's how long it lasted after the initial watering.
I have absolutely no idea if this is the correct potting soil. I just grabbed it because the bag wasn't very large.
I bought this large round vase and apothecary jar at Home Goods. Threw in a disco ball for good measure.
Any tips to help me keep these alive? I heard dropping ice cubes in the jars would be a good way to water them. Sounds easy enough to me!

This is so pretty! I kill plants often (i don't know why!) So I've been hearing I need to try these since they are lower maintenance.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I could probably keep these in door plants alive.
