4th of July Washi Tape Coasters

Do you ever have those moments where you desperately want to do something creative, but get total crafter's block and can't figure out what to do?
Yeah? Story of my life

So after pulling out every red, white & blue anything from my craft room, I finally came up with a few 4th of July decorations. I'm actually really excited about this one. It is so ridiculously easy and makes quite a splash on your table.

Tools
Cardboard
{even better if it is pre-cut into the shape of a star}
Washi Tape
X-Acto Knife
Directions
Cut a piece of thin cardboard into a star {or any shape you want}. I already had one in preparation for 4th of July since I'm obsessed with collecting holiday decor in the off season. A cereal box would work great for this craft too. Cover it in Washi Tape. Use an X-Acto knife to get clean edges.
And there you have it. A cheap {or free if you already had the tools on-hand} way to add some patriotic pops to your dinner table.
