During this time four years ago, I was newly engaged and starting to jump into the world of wedding planning. We had just bought a house, we were both starting the second semester our Master's degrees and both working full time. And on top of that? I didn't know Pinterest existed. Oh yeah, I had just turned 21 too. Yeesh. 

We had been together for six and a half years at that point, but were still pretty young, so it's safe to say that we weren't in a huge hurry to get married. We ended up having a year and a half long engagement, which worked out great because it was very stress free.

One of the tasks all newly engaged couples need to knock off the list is their registry. Your guests are dependent on that registry for engagement parties, bridal showers and wedding presents. John and I asked for our guests' "presence, not presents" because we literally didn't need anything at that point. However, I always thought it would have been fun to walk around Target scanning things for one.

Why Target? Not only because it's my favorite store and I frequent it weekly, but because it's practical. You can get everything at Target. Whether you're asking for camping gear or wine glasses, they have you covered. It's a perfect one-stop-shop destination for your guests to buy you everything your little heart desires.
It's a rainy weekend here in California, finally, so I would probably add this bakeware set and a Keurig to my list.
