Valentine's Day ♥

I spent all night last night making this little care package for John to come home to after work today. Luckily, he was out on the road last night, so I had the house to myself {aka it is an absolute wreck right now!}. 

I was really excited to make cupcakes after work yesterday. That lasted about 20 minutes until I realized maybe two boxes was one too many. Look at my pink Kitchen Aid goin' to work on that {pink} cupcake batter!

I was also really excited that I got to use my new "nut cups" from Pick Your Plum! You can't tell, but this is me attempting to show off my pink cupcakes.

While the cupcakes were baking, I got to work on John's valentines. I was so excited to discover this project over the weekend and immediately decided I needed to make my own! {I think I'm going to write a separate blog about these. I just love them so much!}

One of John's presents is that I'm going to sit through the freaking Star Wars 3D movie with him this weekend. I can't put into words how much I hate Star Wars, but I'm going to do it because I am such a great wife.

I totally stole this from someone. I have no idea where, but I'm sure this saying is pretty common. I made the card myself using fonts from dafont.com in Microsoft Word.
