I'm so happy to report that we finally have a coffee table in our living room. I haven't really talked about this on the blog yet, but our formal living room has been coffee table-less for about 8 months. It never quite looked complete in there. It was a real issue that stressed me out on the daily.
Talk about #firstworldproblems.
I was very lucky to be able to score this beautiful Pottery Barn Townsend Coffee Table from a Facebook friend who was selling it for $85. This table retails for around $500 at the store.
It couldn't be more perfect for our home; it was the perfect length, height and color. It was literally meant for my living room. Not to mention, it's a crafter's dream come true, am I right? I love that I can change out the details inside for any occasion.

I went to Michael's and filled my basket with lots of Christmas goodies. Our formal living room's holiday theme is gold, silver and white, so I used those accent colors to tie everything together. I was able to use some small wooden signs left over from my craft fair that fit perfectly in the compartments.

Here are some pictures that I found on Pinterest to inspire me:

We bought that table at full retail from Pottery Barn and love it! My husband is a geologist/wannabe archeologist. We collect all sorts of rocks and shells and its a perfect way to display our prized finds. Esther Norine Designs
