Black Friday: Target Deals & Coupons

This post is brought to you by Target, but all opinions and content are my own.

I can't believe Black Friday is coming up so soon. In 2 or 3 days (depending on how hardcore you are), hoards of people will attack local stores and make a bee line for the best Day-After-Thanksgiving deals. Since I am always on vacation in San Luis Obispo for Thanksgiving week, my cousin and I have started a tradition of going to at least one store on Black Friday-eve. We don't necessarily go with any specific item in mind, we mainly go for the experience. This year we're going to bundle up and head out to Target.
Since I've never been to the Target in San Luis Obispo, I printed out a printable floor plan of the store so that we know where we're going when we enter. What a great tool! Since Target has already shared their Black Friday deals, I am able to plan ahead so that I know exactly what to look for. If you've ever been outside your house on Black Friday, then you totally understand why this is a great idea. No matter where you end up on Black Friday, make sure you are prepared with coupons to get the best deals. Did you know Target has over 200 coupons available online that you can print for additional in-store savings?

My goal for the week (starting now) is to convince my husband to let me buy at least one of the below items. I love mirrored furniture, but have never had the guts to actually buy any. I think this huge discount is my sign.
Have you heard of Target Cartwheel yet? It's an app, separate from the Target app, that lets you pre-select items that you want to save money on. All you have to do is click on the items and they will be saved to your "cartwheel". Once you're in the store, all you do is have the checker scan a barcode from your phone and you'll save on every item in your Cartwheel. I've filled my Target Cartwheel app with home decor, kitchen appliances, groceries and clothing. These are things that aren't advertised as being on sale in the store, so I would have never known that I could get the items for less. What a great find!

Are you going to take on the crowds Thursday night? Or maybe you wait it out until Friday? If you're smart, you do all of your shopping online and don't deal with any of it. What are some of your traditions, or tips and tricks for the day?
This post is in partnership with Target, however, all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Happy shopping!
