1. What's the best fashion advice you've ever received?
- My sister recently told me to be careful not to look “too Forever 21”. So when I can, I choose my cognac boots instead of the black ones. I feel like that’s a good way to off-set a mostly black outfit.
2. Who do you most admire?
- I’ve always had a hard time with this one. I don’t specifically have one person that comes to mind, but usually I lean towards hard working women who have a successful work-life balance. I’m determined to be a millionaire and own my own company, but I’m not sure how to accomplish that without sacrificing my family.
3. Favorite blogger?
- I follow sooo many blogs. I don’t think I can choose a favorite!
4. Would you rather spend money on clothes or home decor?
- Umm… both?
5. Biggest Fear?
- Besides spiders, fire and having a plastic bag fly up into my windshield {and it getting stuck on the wipers, blinding my vision and causing a car accident}, I think my biggest overall fear in life is the thought of not having financial security and having to worry about how to pay bills. I hope that we never have to experience that.
6. Do you have any pets?
- We have two dogs, a Pug named Modok and a Chihuahua named Fifi.
7. What was the last thing you pinned on Pinterest?
- As of right this second, a really cute pink wall with white wainscoting and elegant gold décor onto my “Home Décor” board.
8. What is your best tip for fellow bloggers?
- Don’t grow up too fast, unless you have time to maintain your popularity! I haven’t blogged in what feels like weeks, but I think I got burnt out. I had 2 straight months of non-stop crafting and blogging. During that time I gained a bunch of new blogging friends and followers, but it turned into something I needed to put on my to-do list. I started backing off because it should be a hobby, not something that makes me feel like a slacker when I don’t do it!!
9. Beach or Mountains?
- Turns out I don’t like either one. The beach requires dieting, getting dirty in the sand, then getting wet in the saltwater and mountains usually mean doing something outdoors or include snow, which I recently realized I hate. Wow, I’m such a Debbie Downer!
10. What do you do to relieve stress?
- Aboslutely nothingggg. Literally. Just hang out at home and relax!
11. Chocolate or vanilla?
- Definitely vanilla.

1. What is your funniest vacation experience?
- Definitely Disneyland with John's family. John drank way too much green tea and it was like he had done speed with Goofy every morning!
2. If you could have a super-power, what would it be?
- The power to be in multiple places at once {is that a thing?}. Wouldn't it be cool if you could clean the house while laying on the couch watching TV and get paid for an 8 hour day at work?!
3. Do you speak any other languages? If not what other language do you wish you knew?
- I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, but hardly remember anything. I actually never really knew how to speak the language, but I sure knew how to write a killer essay. I think I'll eventually pick this up again.
4. What is your morning routine?
- Turn off my first two alarms, then wake up 15 minutes later to my 3rd alarm across the room. From there, I usually turn it off and go back to sleep. Then, I wake up way too late, shower, hair, makeup, get dressed, let the dogs out to go potty and then speed off to work!
5. If you had an entire day to yourself, how would you spend it?
- Usually laying on the couch doing absolutely nothing... or crafting.
6. What are your two biggest pet peeves?
- The fact that glass ceilings still exist in the workplace & when people think they are smarter than you.
7. Are you laid back or high energy?
- I think I’m high energy when it comes to accomplishing things, but prefer to think of myself as laid back because I would usually rather be in my pajamas.
8. What was your first job?
- Babysitting and working at a snack bar at a local public pool.
9. What movie are you embarrassed to admit that you love?
- Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Fifi and I love watching that together =)
10. What's your favorite decorating tip?
- “Less is more.”
11. Did you make a New Years resolution? Have you kept it?
- Yes, I made 10 of them and I've successfully kept numbers 1,2,4,5 (not quite, but definitely on my way!), 9 & 10. Go me!
