But alas, it was a false alarm- so she returns to her ambivalent slumber.

This blog post is just to say how grateful I am for the company that John and I work for and the opportunities we have been given at such an early age. I am currently in the process of hiring an administrative assistant and it completely breaks my heart to see how many people are desperate for a job in this economy. In a matter of 3 days, I received over 120 applications. A lot of them were put in the "no" pile because they were over qualified for our opening.

So no matter where you work, be thankful you at least have a job. And for those of you who are currently unemployed, I'm sorry and I wish you the best of luck.

Happy Valentine's Day ♥

February and October are my favorite months of the year. Not only do they host my favorite holidays (V-Day & B-Day), but they also mean that all products turn pink due to obvious reasons in February and Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.

So I got home from work tonight and was totally excited to hang out with my Valentine. I walked in and had these heart shaped breadsticks with multiple sauces waiting for me.

Then in the oven was a heart shaped pizza with heart shaped pepperoni.

Here's my valentine aka my personal chef.

Then some heart shaped shortbread and strawberries for dessert.

And after I was beyond stuffed, we got to open prezzies.

So this is kind of pathetic, but John said he's gotten me so much Tiffanys that he didn't really have much to say in the card, so he just left it blank. I gave him a hard time about that...
